Charitable gifts annuities (CGAs) are more popular than ever.  Learn how these straightforward charitable agreements help clients align philanthropic goals with financial objectives. Attendees will learn how CGAs provide fixed lifetime payments, create a potential charitable income-tax deduction, spread recognition of capital gains when appreciated assets are used, and support a meaningful legacy. The session will also address suitable client profiles, immediate, deferred and testamentary payment options, one- and two-life arrangements, funding assets (including IRA rollovers), and key differences between charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts.

Join the Michiana Estate Planning Council on November 12 at the Community Learning Center as we dive into this major tax bill. We'll get started at 4:00. Light refreshments will be provided.
