Criminals design scams that exploit human behavior. Even confident, financially literate customers can be persuaded, pressured, or socially engineered into devastating losses. No one is immune to a well designed scam.

Join the Michiana Estate Planning Council on March 19 as we hear from Shanon Barnhart, an experienced fraud management professional with a strong background in retail and operational banking. A proud graduate of Indiana University, Shanon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and has been with 1st Source Bank since 2007. Throughout his tenure, he has held a variety of roles across retail and operational functions, building a deep understanding of banking processes, risk mitigation, and customer service. In his current role as Fraud Manager, Shanon leverages nearly two decades of industry experience to lead fraud prevention strategies, strengthen security practices, and support the organization’s commitment to safeguarding clients and assets.
