Along with sharing survey takeaways, Mirchandani will provide action steps, as well as helpful tools and resources to build skills and foster collaboration for families.\n \nThis presentation provides a fantastic opportunity for estate planning professionals to network and further their own education. Events like this are always free for members of the Michiana Estate Planning Council. As a special welcome to new and returning members, the Council will cover registration costs for all attendees, regardless of current membership status.\n \nShilpa Mirchandani is a Director at the Merrill Center for Family Wealth® where she helps clients align core values with wealth and navigate the challenges of transitioning wealth to the rising generation.\n \nAs a former tax attorney, she has a deep appreciation for how experiences and values impact mindset and decision-making regarding family and wealth. Central to this work is advising individuals, couples, and multigenerational families on communication, decision-making, and governance strategies that help them meet their wealth objectives and successfully grow, preserve, and transition wealth across generations. She is passionate about cultivating understanding and communication among families, and empowering the rising generation of inheritors, investors, and leaders through education and compassion in a way that is both meaningful and enjoyable.\n \nShilpa was most recently a Lead Family Dynamics Specialist and prior to that, a Lead Wealth Planning Strategist, at Wells Fargo. Shilpa earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Law in Taxation from University of Florida, and her bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida. Shilpa is an active member of the Purposeful Planning Institute, which aims to explore and share best practices for creating sustainable family legacies. Shilpa enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with family, friends, and her puppy.\n
